As Team Lead, Payroll Operations, you’ll take on a player-coach role, managing a team of Payroll Specialists while actively supporting payroll execution across multiple customers and entities. You will drive process improvements, maintain vendor and stakeholder relationships, and serve as a subject matter expert for payroll compliance and accuracy.ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll for assigned customers and provide guidance to team members as a subject matter expertLead a team of Payroll Specialists to ensure timely and compliant payroll deliveryImplement and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and controlsAnalyze payroll data to identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancementsDeliver training and communication to internal teams to ensure understanding of payroll processesManage relationships with payroll vendors and tax authorities to ensure timely filings and paymentsQualifications5+ years of experience processing payroll for multiple entitiesStrong working knowledge of local payroll and HR regulationsExperience with local payroll systems and vendor managementStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
